Vienna is calling you...
Vienna is not just a beautiful backdrop for this retreat, it’s a place that has shaped me..
I fell in love in Vienna, and with Vienna, in the early 2000s. My now-husband was living there when we met, and I spent long stretches of time exploring the city by his side, walking, wandering museums, sitting in cafés, noticing the quiet elegance of everyday life..
Years later, we moved to Austria, and Vienna has remained a constant in my life. I return to it often - to its museums, streets and gardens - and it never fails to impress me..
What I love most about Vienna is that it’s deeply European and culturally rich, yet human in scale.
It’s walkable, calm, and elegant without being overwhelming. And in the spring, when the roses bloom, the city feels especially alive and generous.
After more than 20 years of exploring Vienna, it feels natural to share it this way - slowly, intentionally, and with women who value experience over rushing and inspiration over output.
This retreat is an invitation to see the city not as a tourist, but as a guest..

This gathering is a good fit for you if:
You’re a creative woman who values experience, inspiration, and place
You enjoy exploring cities slowly- on foot, in museums, cafés, and parks
You’re comfortable with a flexible, experience-led program rather than a fixed schedule
You appreciate both shared experiences and personal space
You’re happy to take care of your own travel arrangements and practical logistics
You’re excited to explore Vienna with guidance, but also with independence
This gathering may not be the right fit if:
You’re looking for a structured painting or skills-based art retreat
You prefer a fully scheduled itinerary with little free time
You want travel logistics to be handled for you
You’re uncomfortable making your own flight arrangements
You’re not able or willing to arrange your own travel insurance

Most creative or artist retreats focus on production.
They’re often long, intensive, and expensive - designed for artists who want to spend days painting in a studio setting.
This gathering is intentionally different.
It’s designed for creatives who want to experience a place through an artist’s lens, without spending their time indoors trying to produce work while a beautiful city waits outside.
Instead of long hours of making, we focus on:
The culture of the city
Its art, architecture, and museums
Walking, observing, noticing
Letting inspiration collect naturally
The idea is simple:
You gather experiences, impressions, colors, and ideas now- and you take them home with you, back to your studio, your sketchbook, and your daily life.
This makes the retreat accessible not only to full-time artists, but also to:
Hobbyists
Creatives with limited time
Artists who want inspiration more than instruction
Guided by someone who knows Vienna deeply, and shared with a small group of like-minded women, this gathering offers a way to travel, experience art, and feel creatively nourished - without pressure, intensity, or overwhelm.
